Based on county COVID-19 activity levels, our campus will adopt the protective measures found under "Substantial Activity" in our ResponsiveEd COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines this week. Among other practices, this means that students in Grades PK-12 will wear face coverings when it is not feasible to maintain a distance of at least six (6) feet from other individuals, including in classrooms. Thank you for your partnership in the safety of the students and staff on our campus.

We've changed our name! Jasper Classical Academy is now Quest Collegiate Academy - Jasper.

New name, same family atmosphere with caring and dedicated staff.

Quest Collegiate Academy will continue with face to face learning next week. Our campus has not had any teachers directly or indirectly affected by COVID-19. Our campus has only had 2 positive student cases and those were at the beginning of the school year. We have not had any cases since returning to school from Christmas break. However, due to the increased number of cases within Jasper County, all students in all grades will be required to wear face coverings while in the classroom(unless proper social distancing can be maintained), in hallways, at dismissal, and anywhere that the proper social distancing measures cannot be adhered to.

As a reminder, any student who is tested for COVID-19, may not return to school until the test results are determined. If the student receives a negative test result, they can return immediately. However, if a student is positive for COVID-19, they must quarantine for 14 days from the date of the positive test result. The student may not return until a negative test result is reported or the 14 day quarantine has expired.

Please remember that QCA has the ability to administer rapid result COVID-19 test to our students. We now have a nurse on staff, as well as other office staff, that has been trained in the administration of these tests. Your student must be showing symptoms of COVID-19 and they must have a signed parental consent form. (This form was sent out via ParentSquare before Christmas.) Even if we have a signed consent form, we will notify you of any testing should a student be symptomatic. We do not have the ability to test parents or siblings of our students.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school at 409-489-9222.

Message from the Director

At Quest Collegiate Academy - Jasper, our educational vision recognizes the value of each child as a person and each parent as their primary educator. While teaching virtuous conduct and offering a generous curriculum, we prioritize the value of respecting and building the child’s dignity as an individual while offering them an atmosphere which reflects truth, goodness, and beauty. Children have a natural appetite for knowledge, and we seek to offer sustenance for the child’s mind by creating a rich intellectual environment for students to develop connections between all subjects.

Our priority is to cultivate a lifelong love of learning and virtuous character, within the nurturing context of a 21st Century classical education. As a charter school, our mission is to provide hope through a high quality and accessible educational option to parents and students. As you choose Quest Collegiate Academy - Jasper, we look forward to partnering with you in the education of your child.

With Warmest Regards,

Gale Oliver
